We could really use some info on what pak0.pak works without giving filecheck errors and where we could download those .pak

lets say that we want zzzzzzzzzz_originalSTUFF.pak and its loaded last . Using addstuffcmd, filelists, HTTP downloads, might work and players wont even notice it except HTTPDownload print. *.pak loading is default in R1Q2 and as an option in AprQ2. Might work this way.

Which files/paks are allowed is determined on a server by server basis, each admin can setup hashes of which files are allowed or not, so you need to contact the server admin if you want to know what paks/files are valid and where they can be downloaded.

I guess in this special case he means the pak0.pak from Gloom.
I used the most recent one for creating the hash list (plus all allowed files from community section). The problem is that many people still have an older version of gloom installed, which causes them to report modified file errors, although everything might look the same.

Easiest thing for this case is to download the 7z-archive for gloom and extract only pak0.pak to gloom folder. Almost every player had no bad file reports after that.

 You know what happens when you just change your pak numbers to another number??? they go way up there don't they. That could make some very busy.

For Gloom, you just exchange an already exisiting pak0.pak (from an older version of the mod with older and different content) with the latest version of the pak.
