Hello,
I have this window error when I close foobar2000: metadb_handle leaks, 23 objects

I've tried to remove the plugin and no more errors...

I'm using this plugin especially for litestep, but also with Miranda IM.
Is it a known problem or just for me ?

Thanks.

You are probably using an old version, some 0.7x version uses to leak handles. The latest version does not.

but I use the version I found on your site, 0.74, 29/01/2004.

Is there an other version ?

Do you have any other plugins installed? I've been using 0.74 since I made it and have never had any handle leaks.

Well, I've decided to entirely remove foobar and reinstall it. And now, obviously, it works well, no more errors, whereas, before, error appeared very often (4 times/5).

For the plugin, I have the minimum:  _console, _input_std, _ui_std, _read_http, _out_dsound_ex (direct sound 2.0), _vis_manager, and yours.

But for now, no problems, good for me.
Thank you for this nice plugin. Smiley

PS:An other question: is there any way to read the dynamic track title of radios ?

I tried to implement this in the latest version, however foobar2000 does not provide an API to format radio track titles. I'm hoping 0.9 fixes this and will wait until it stablizes then rebuild foo_winamp_spam for it.

Hello, just googling, and I am also recieving this error, only on close of foobar.

I have miranda asking the plugin about song data, and have very many [ unneccesary] plugins installed. i can't say 100% your plugin made this error appear, but who knows.

if maybe i get intrigued, i'll sort thru all plugins and narrow down a culprit. but as it is, it's not that annoying. [ why would i close foobar :P ].

apologies if this bumps a ridulously old post, or if it's covered in great detail elsewhere, i just spontaneously searched it out one day and recognized this site as the winamp plugins homepage.

thanks for your work on it, and i would also like radio stream title information, but understand the situation.

Try removing the winamp_spam plugin and see if the handle leaks go away. I'm pretty sure I'm not leaking any Smiley.
