.pk3 file support would be cool..  Cheesy  Maybe faster?

Maybe... at the very least I may look into some kind of zip pak support to replace zpak which was in early r1q2 versions. I just hope zlib is fast enough not to cause any noticable slowdown when reading zips.

I noticed one thing.. When someone spawns it lags 1 second..
Its like trying to play quake2 when writing PNG screenshot. its really annoying.

If you're using any PNG skins on models you may wish to convert them to TGA as loading PNGs can be quite slow. Other than that, there's nothing in R1Q2 that should slow down how new player info is received...
