Hey quick question. I wanted to know if there was possibly a way to have bitchbot registered in an irc channel? I have chanserv giving a level to everyone in my channel since all thier nicks are registered, however I cannot seem to get bitchbot registered. When I do /msg chanserv access #channel add bitchbot level I get the following:

>chanserv< access #linuxpowered add LinuxPowered 5
-ChanServ- Channel access lists may only contain registered nicknames.

Any help would be appreciated  smiley

Connect to IRC server with your actual IRC client.
Inside the IRC room, type "/nick xxxxxx" xxxxxx being the name of your bot.
In the server screen, enter whatever nickserv commands that the server requires to register the bot.
Back in the room, type "/nick yyyyyyy" yyyyyyy being your usual nick

Change the configuration of your bot to reflect the password you set for it.
