I have no debug information to give except what happens here  - there is no info to show!

If I set sv_allow_map 1, then use 'map' to change levels, the server changes OK, and appears to be up - status etc. all work as should - but clients cannot connect.  If I issue 'map' command again, then the second time clients can connect as they should.

All I have is server logs:

Code:

-------------------------------------

[CONSOLE] map xq2dm1

==== ShutdownGame ====
------- Loading gamei386.so -------
Loaded Game DLL, version 3
==== InitGame ====
------- Server Initialization -------
0 entities inhibited
0 teams with 0 entities
server map: xq2dm1
-------------------------------------

[CONSOLE] status

map              : xq2dm1
 # score ping name            lastmsg address               rate/pps ver
-- ----- ---- --------------- ------- --------------------- -------- ---

*****  Here server is up, but no clients can join.  Issue map command again.
[CONSOLE] map xq2dm1

==== ShutdownGame ====
------- Loading gamei386.so -------
Loaded Game DLL, version 3
==== InitGame ====
------- Server Initialization -------
0 entities inhibited
0 teams with 0 entities
server map: xq2dm1
-------------------------------------
Lethe connected
Lethe[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:60281]: protocol 34: "3.21 i386 Aug 29 2004 Linux"
Lethe entered the game

Are you sure you are using b1918? b1917 had the exact problem you describe and is since fixed.

Heh.  Buggered if I know - I download source, as I build with Intel's ICC.

I will check this.  Sorry to be a pain if I ain't.

EDIT:  OK, I am using 1917 - will update right now.

Typing 'version' in the console should show it, it should also appear on startup.

OK, thanks, 1918 does indeed fix it.

I will have to pay more attention to source releases.

Thanks,

Nick
