Hi.
I have started voting about nofreeze on q2scene forum, you can see it here: http://q2scene.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=499&sid=d245ad6893cacde4fa583ddd76488cc2.
Since ppl at all are ready for changes, i'd offer the next thing.
Was testing nofreeze on the map where it's needed the most - q2duel1 - and found that while outrance from teleports are good, intrance is still not so perfect. You still can get 'inside' the teleport if you are strafing and/or firing when moving. It was greate if we would finnaly make teleports work when you cross the like, no matter of other things.

The teleporters in Q2 look like the regular deathmatch spawn points with a particle effect. You can't have a full-size teleporter "wall" as in Quake 3. The areas in aerowalk where the teleporters are buried in the ground to emulate a bigger teleporter do not fully cover the actual size of the fake teleporter, thus there are gaps. This is a map problem and not a problem in the mod.
