I carefully followed the setup in the .conf file, added myself as Admin (or so I thought) by very carefully following the format outlined by Rich in the .conf file, yet the bot continues to ignore me. The odd thing is, whenever I enter the channel, the bot automaically voices me, so it must be recognising *something*?
Now I have to admit that I'm new to perl bots, having dealt solely with mIRC bots before this. But everything else seems to work fine on the bot... it connects fine, joins the right channel without any problem... just won't recognise me as Admin.

If any help could be given to me on this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Kind regards,
Jamie

If you can post the part of your bitch.conf where you set admin that would help.

Did you add yourself as a user with limited permissions?

Thanks. I finally go that figured out.  Now I'm looking for the restart script.  The bot comes back after being kicked, but not with a restart.  Auto op would be nice too.  grin
