hm
now shell writes:
[***@*** bitchbot]$ ./bitch.pl
Executing config file... [ OK ] (2brbot from bitch.conf)
Trying Time::HiRes... [ OK ] (hi-resolution ping times enabled)
Trying to set alarm... [ OK ] (will detect timeout)
Loading factoids... [ OK ] (loaded 0 factoids (0 denied))
Connecting to server... [ OK ] (connected to irc.de.quakenet.org:6667)

at this time bot comes on channel.
but in 30 seconds [***@*** bitchbot]$ appears again, and bot leaves channel Sad
what's the matter of his leaving?

I have the same or simmilair problem:

my output:
C:\Perl\bin>perl bitch.pl
Executing config file...     [  OK  ] (PKBot from bitch.conf)
Trying Time::HiRes...      [  OK  ] (hi-resolution ping times enabled)
Trying to set alarm...      [  OK  ] (will detect timeout)
Loading factoids...          [  OK  ] (loaded 0 factoids (0 denied))
Connecting to server...    [  OK  ] (connected to 193.172.60.13:6667)

Using bitchbot on Windows 2000 professional with ActivePerl 5.8
Bot says it is connected to the server but a /whois --> output No Such Channel or Nick

Thanks in advance Smiley

I don't think IRC nicknames are allowed to start with a number...
